DESCRIPTION
Working title: Franz and Hilda
Short description:

Franz, an Austrian circus dwarf died recently when he bounced sideways from a trampoline and was swallowed by a hippopotamus.
Primary aim:

Creating a wonderful and smooth animation which I am able to be proud of to show to anyone.

My lecturer thinks that the animation is a good piece of work. Getting an A for this module. Feeling happy when I had seen the completed piece of work.

Making my classmates and friends laugh when they see the animation.

Story:
An Austrian circus dwarf died recently when he bounced sideways from a trampoline and was swallowed by a hippopotamus. Seven thousand people watched as little Franz Dasch popped into the mouth of Hilda the Hippo and the animal's gag reflex forced it to swallow. The crowd applauded wildly before other circus people realized what had happened.

Anticipated difficulties:
Deciding on the style of the background to go with the characters design. It will be tough to find reference action poses for the Dwarf of him falling. Exaggerate actions throughout the whole animation.

Location:
Find images of how Austrian Circus interior looks like.
How a trampoline looks like
Character:
Experiment on the proportion of the drawf.
Software techniques:
Using of Flash for colouring.

Grickle animations on Youtube are a very good example to learn from. Looking into how he makes his audiences so engross with all his mini films.

Are there any secondary target groups? Adults who have a sense of humour and enjoys watching childish cartoons.
Step 2: what effect do you hope to have on your target groups?
I hope that kids will find it funny and cute. Adults will find it a little disturbed by the ending when they found out what happened to the dwarf.
